Challenge

The industrial equipment prepared in Belgorod for the Akkuyu power plant project was packed in wooden crates. With crated loads of this kind, choosing the right vehicle volume and securing the crates so they cannot shift along the way are prerequisites for damage-free delivery.

Solution

  • Vehicle selection: A 120 m³ truck-and-trailer combination matching the volume of the load was planned.
  • Pre-loading checks: The dimensions and weights of the crates were checked before loading, and the fit between vehicle and load was verified on site.
  • Load securing: The crates were secured at multiple points with ratchet straps.
  • Route and customs: The shipment was carried to Türkiye on the Tuapse–Taşucu Ro-Ro line, customs procedures were completed at Taşucu and the cargo was delivered to the power plant area.

Result
