Voltim Global delivered an oversized industrial unit from Voronezh to Mersin damage-free by international road transport. The toughest step — the oversized road permit — was secured in just one day. Operation photos in the gallery, videos below.
Voltim Global has delivered an oversized industrial unit originating from Voronezh (Russia) to Mersin by international road transport. The dome-shaped unit, protected by shrink-wrap packaging, was loaded onto the vehicle by overhead crane at the factory site; as its dimensions exceeded the standard vehicle profile, the shipment was planned under oversized-cargo procedures.
The most challenging part of this shipment was the mandatory special road permit for oversized cargo: a process that can take days or even weeks in the industry was completed in just one day thanks to Voltim's established procedures and institutional relationships — one of the core capabilities that set us apart.
Operation Highlights
- Oversized-cargo road permit secured in just one day — clearing the operation's most critical hurdle fast
- Crane–vehicle coordination and precise positioning during in-factory loading
- Multi-point securing of the shrink-wrapped unit
- Uninterrupted road leg from Russia to Türkiye with customs clearance
- Loaded on 20 July, unloaded damage-free in Mersin on 4 August — roughly a two-week door-to-door lead time
